Design and Build: Vivo X200 FE vs Vivo T4 Ultra
Vivo X200 FE: 6.31-inch display, 186g, 150.83 x 71.76 x 7.99 mm. Matte glass back, aluminium frame, and IP68/IP69 rating – full protection from water and dust. Colours: Luxe Grey, Amber Yellow, Frost Blue. Feels as compact as an iPhone in the hand.
Vivo T4 Ultra: 6.67-inch display, 192g, 160.5 x 75.02 x 7.43 mm. Slightly bigger and regular size phone. Matte glass back, but IP64 rating – only splash-proof. Colours: Meteor Grey, Phoenix Gold.
Winner: X200 FE. Compact size and better durability with IP68/IP69 rating. The T4 Ultra is larger, but slim (7.43mm) and feels slightly heavier.
Display: Small or Big? : Vivo X200 FE vs Vivo T4 Ultra
Vivo X200 FE: 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 5000 nits peak brightness, 460 PPI. HDR10+ support and 260Hz PWM dimming.
Vivo T4 Ultra: 6.67-inch Quad Curved AMOLED, 1260×2800 (FHD+), 120Hz refresh rate, 5000 nits peak brightness, 460 PPI. HDR10+ support and 3840Hz PWM dimming.
Comparison: Both displays are great – vibrant colors, deep blacks, and clear in outdoor. The display of X200 FE is compact, which is better for one-handed use. The larger display of T4 Ultra is a bit immersive for videos and gaming. Brightness and PPI are almost the same, but the higher PWM dimming of T4 Ultra is a bit better for eyes at night. Draw – choose based on size preference.
Camera: Same Hardware, Different Results?
Both phones have triple rear camera setup: 50MP main (Sony IMX921, f/1.88, OIS), 8MP ultra-wide (f/2.2), and 50MP periscope telephoto (Sony IMX882, OIS, 3x optical zoom). But there is a difference in the front camera and software optimization.
Photo Test : Vivo X200 FE vs Vivo T4 Ultra
- Main Camera (Daylight): Both their 50MP main cameras deliver sharp photos during the day. The X200 FE’s colours are more natural and consistent thanks to the Zeiss collaboration – skin tones and details are captured better. The T4 Ultra takes slightly brighter and vibrant photos, but sometimes colours seem over-saturated (magenta tone). When you zoom in, details in shoes, faces, or objects are slightly better on the X200 FE.
- Portrait Mode: The X200 FE’s edge detection is absolutely on point, background blur looks natural. The T4 Ultra sometimes misses edge detection (like around hair). The X200 FE’s portraits are more professional and DSLR-like.
- Ultra-Wide: The 8MP ultra-wide for both is average. In low-light there’s less detail, and the T4 Ultra converts shadows into deep black, which looks a little unnatural. The X200 FE offers slightly better detail retention.
- Telephoto (3x Zoom): The 50MP periscope lens is solid in both. The X200 FE’s telephoto shots (85mm/100mm) deliver more natural colours and sharpness. The T4 Ultra’s colours are a little vibrant but inconsistent.
- Front Camera: The X200 FE’s 50MP (f/2.0) selfie camera delivers better details and sharpness than the T4 Ultra’s 32MP (f/2.45). The T4 Ultra’s selfies are a little warm and bright, but the X200 FE delivers more natural skin tones.
Video Test : Vivo X200 FE vs Vivo T4 Ultra
- 4K@60fps: X200 FE’s videos are brighter and more eye-pleasing, and colours look natural. T4 Ultra’s videos seem a little under-exposed, especially in cloudy or low-light conditions.
- Stabilization: T4 Ultra’s stabilization is slightly better at 4K@60fps, but X200 FE has a noticeable jitter that causes problems in moving shots.
Camera Winner: X200 FE. Colours are more consistent, natural, and details are better thanks to Zeiss optimization. T4 Ultra sometimes produces brighter photos that look attractive from a distance, but X200 FE wins when you zoom in. In video, the stabilization of T4 Ultra is slightly better, but overall the camera of X200 FE is absolutely top-notch.
Performance: Same Processor, Same Power?
Chipset: Both have MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ (4nm, Octa-core, up to 3.4GHz), with Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU.
Benchmarks: AnTuTu score of X200 FE is ~1,981,630, T4 Ultra’s is ~1,945,481. Both are almost same in Geekbench (X200 FE: 7,149 multi-core, T4 Ultra: 6,985 multi-core).
Gaming: Both phones run 90fps smoothly in games like BGMI. X200 FE’s vapor chamber cooling gives slightly better thermals in long sessions (27.9% heating vs T4 Ultra’s 40.8%).
RAM/Storage: X200 FE has 12GB/16GB RAM (LPDDR5X) and 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1. T4 Ultra has 8GB/12GB RAM (LPDDR5) and 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1. X200 FE’s RAM is more powerful.
Winner: X200 FE. Along with slightly better RAM and cooling, it has an edge in long-term gaming and multitasking. Both are very smooth in daily use (Funtouch OS 15 on Android 15).
Battery: Big Difference!
Vivo X200 FE: 6500mAh battery, 90W FlashCharge (full charge in ~44 min). Reverse wireless charging support. PCMark battery life: 15h 32m.
Vivo T4 Ultra: 5500mAh battery, 90W FlashCharge (full charge in ~34 min). PCMark battery life: 13h 34m.
Winner: X200 FE. The 6500mAh battery in a compact size gives so much backup that even in heavy use, you get 6-7 hours of screen-on time. The battery of T4 Ultra is also good, but X200 FE clearly wins.
Software and Extras
OS: Both run on Android 15 – X200 FE has Funtouch OS 15 (OriginOS 5 in some regions), T4 Ultra has Funtouch OS 15. X200 FE’s software is a little more polished.
Updates: X200 FE has 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security updates. T4 Ultra has 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
Extras: X200 FE has IR Blaster (TV/AC control), T4 Ultra doesn’t. Both have dual stereo speakers, in-display fingerprint, NFC, Wi-Fi 6/7, and Bluetooth 5.4.
Winner: X200 FE. Longer update support and IR Blaster give an edge.

Conclusion: Which Phone to Buy?
Vivo X200 FE is a compact flagship – small size, big 6500mAh battery, better IP68/IP69 rating, and Zeiss-tuned camera that gives more consistent and natural photos. The 50MP selfie camera is also better than the T4 Ultra. If you want premium in-hand feel, long battery backup, and a top-notch camera, then spending ₹15,000 extra is worth it.
The Vivo T4 Ultra is a solid deal in the budget. The camera is almost the same, but colours are over-saturated at times, and edge detection is a bit weak. There is a slight edge in video stabilization, but it lags behind the X200 FE in battery and build quality. If your budget is ₹35,000-40,000 and camera is not a top priority, then this phone is quite good.
Final Verdict: For the camera, the X200 FE is absolutely great – the consistency and details in photos are next-level thanks to the Zeiss. But T4 Ultra is cheaper and sometimes gives brighter photos which look attractive from a distance. Both are same in gaming and daily use, but X200 FE’s compact size, bigger battery, and durable build make it better overall. If budget allows, buy X200 FE; otherwise T4 Ultra is also not bad.
