What’s in the box?
The Moto Edge 60 Pro comes in a smart box, which includes:
- Phone
- 90W Turbo Power Charger
- USB-C to USB-C cable
- SIM ejector pin
- UV glue protection tapes (for ports and speakers)
- Manual Guide
However, the lack of a back case and tempered glass is a bit disappointing. Still, the inclusion of a 90W charger in this range is a big plus.
Design and Look
The design of the Moto Edge 60 Pro is premium and lightweight. Weighing 186 grams and 8.24mm thick, the phone feels slim in the hand. Available in Pantone Dazzling Blue, Pantone Sparkling Grape, and Pantone Shadow colour options, its nylon-textured back panel offers great grip and premium feel.
The quad-curved display and 96.47% screen-to-body ratio make it almost bezel-less. Plastic frames have been used, which reduce the premium feel a bit, but IP68/IP69 rating and MIL-STD 810H certification make it durable. The absence of Moto AI button on the left side (activated by 1-second press) and 3.5mm jack can be missed for music lovers.
Display
The 6.7-inch 1.5K quad-curved pOLED display comes with 120Hz refresh rate, 4500 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. Colors are poppy and sharp, but the claim of 4500 nits in HDR did not seem that amazing.
The brightness felt a little low compared to Vivo V40 Neo (3000 nits). Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and Aqua Touch feature make it durable and practical. It is much better than the 90Hz display of A16 5G.
Software
The Android 15 based Hello UI is smooth and clean, but there is some bloatware (uninstallable). The Moto AI button makes AI tasks like text generation and image editing easier. The Smart Connect feature made file sharing and hotspot control with the laptop smooth. 3 years of OS updates (up to Android 18) and 4 years of security patches will be available.
Some users complained of software bugs and lag in the camera app on the X, but in my use the camera app was smooth, probably due to UFS 4.0 storage.
Biometrics
The in-display fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate. Face unlock works well even in low-light.
Audio
Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos deliver loud and crisp sound. Microphone quality is good for calls and recording. The absence of a 3.5mm jack is disappointing, but sound quality was good with Bluetooth 5.4.
Connectivity
12 5G bands, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB-C 3.2 port make it future-proof. Speed on Jio 5G was 200-250 Mbps. Vo5G and dual SIM support is there, but not eSIM.
Storage and RAM
256GB UFS 4.0 storage is available with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5x RAM. There is no microSD slot, but 256GB storage is enough for most users. The 8GB RAM variant was smooth in multitasking.
Performance
The MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme (4nm, Mali-G615 MC6 GPU) processor handles day-to-day tasks and gaming with ease. Subway Surfers and BGMI (medium settings, 40 FPS) ran smoothly. Antutu score is around 8 lakh, which is great in this range. Some users have complained of overheating on the X, but in my usage, only mild heating was noticed.
Battery and Charging
The 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery gives 8-10 hours of screen-on time, and lasts for a day and a half with light use. 90W Turbo Charging charges from 0 to 100% in 35 minutes, which is much faster than the 25W of A16 5G. There is also 15W wireless and 5W reverse charging. Idle drain was 2-3%, which is impressive.
Camera
The triple rear setup of 50MP Sony LYT-700C main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide, and 10MP telephoto (3x optical, 50x digital zoom) delivers sharp and vibrant photos in bright light. The 50MP front camera is good for selfies and 4K videos. Moto AI features like AI Photo Enhance and Night Vision improve photos. Noise was noticed in low-light.
IP Rating
IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD 810H certification makes it dust, water, and drop resistant. Usage was safe in light rain.
Gesture Controls
Gestures like the Moto AI button, double tap, and three-finger screenshot in the Hello UI make usage easier.
Accessories
Cases and tempered glass for the Moto Edge 60 Pro are available on Flipkart and Amazon.
Moto Edge 60 Pro Price:
- 8GB + 256GB: ₹29,999
- 12GB + 256GB: ₹33,999
Sale started on Flipkart and Motorola India e-store from 30 April 2025. With bank offers, it can be purchased for ₹28,999. Expensive than A16 5G (₹16,999), but the features make it value for money.
Conclusion
Moto Edge 60 Pro gives a premium experience with 50MP AI camera, 6000mAh battery, and 1.5K pOLED display under ₹30,000. Some users complained of software bugs and overheating, but the performance was smooth in my use.
Despite being more expensive than Samsung A16 5G, it is ahead in camera, battery, and display. This is a great option for students, professionals, or those looking for a mid-range 5G phone.
